esus e-learning Planning Meeting 2017

2016 was another very busy year for esus e-learning and thankfully 2017 is shaping up to be even busier. Our renewed focus on e-learning has resulted in an increase in project work with existing and new customers in multiple sectors. One of the key challenges for companies is to have the discipline to take a step back from the hectic day-to-day work and take an objective look at themselves. With that in mind, the esus e-learning team gathered in the beautiful surroundings of Clontarf Castle in Dublin recently to discuss last year’s performance and to talk about the plans for 2017 and beyond.

2016 was a very busy year with e-learning projects but it was also a year of laying the groundwork for future year’s success. We created a plan to look at all areas of the company and how we could bring our e-learning offering to an even higher level. Esus e-learning is all about transformation. We take static content from our customers and transform it into something that’s engaging, memorable, visually compelling and effective. Our team had an excellent session discussing new and innovative ways that we can further enhance our offering. Projects using software solutions like Articulate Storyline 2, Adobe Animate and Affinity Designer were reviewed and discussed and the energised brainstorming session led to some really creative and exciting options. More on that in the coming weeks and months.

In addition to producing high quality work, a big part of the company’s success, has been the management of projects and the process we follow from initial customer meetings, to content creation, design work and development work, right through to the finished project. We invested a lot of time documenting and refining our e-learning processes last year. It was time well spent and has resulted in better collaboration throughout our team and with clients which has resulted in the integration of some excellent tools including Teamwork Projects for Project Management, Cloudfind for Visual Assets work and Dropbox for Business for secure storage in the cloud to name a few.

Our offsite meeting was incredibly productive and motivating for all the team. We have already scheduled another full team offsite session for early this summer as the process of reviewing what we do and how we do it is never ending. As a company focused on e-learning, we want to keep pushing the envelope and continue to develop even more innovative solutions for our customers.
