CMS ensures that publishers own content and not design, leading to a more consistent look, feel and structure. |
· |
Reduces website maintenance costs. |
esus' bespoke content management systems allow customers to easily edit and update their site's with incorporated workflows and permission based systems. esus' tools were developed for use by administration, sales and marketing staff as they require no technical or Internet experience.
Another option for customers comes in the form of using Macromedia Contribute. As with esus' bespoke solutions, Macromedia Contribute is a tool that allows editors to update their own content without having to know HTML or a web publishing package i.e. Dreamweaver or FrontPage. Contribute is designed to be installed on a PC with an available Internet connection, and uses FTP to transfer the complete pages to the Web server. An administrator can set up profiles of users that will update the site content, and also has the power to restrict their actions.
3. Web Publisher Training
This option consists of training a member of the customer's staff and bringing them up to speed with a web design package and the associated issues of updating a website. An initial session would be followed by a further follow up session to help implement the concepts addressed in the initial training session.
This option requires the customer to purchase a web-publishing package such a Macromedia Dreamweaver or Microsoft FrontPage that would allow them to update the site.
